Fall Baby Names

Fall inspired baby names are a cool way to (pumpkin) spice up your search for the perfect thing to call your new P'Baby! Here are eight of our favorite fall baby names - let us know if your little one has a fun seasonal name we missed. We do know an awesome little girl named September, so anything goes!

1. Apple

MEANING: Nature name - seasonal fruit

"Fall" in love with this name because: if it's good enough for Gwyneth, it's good enough for us!

2. Autumn

MEANING: The period from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice.

"Fall" in love with this name because: it doesn't get more fall than this!

3. Hawk

MEANING: Nature name - a bird

"Fall" in love with this name because: it comes with a certain bad boy cachet - just like skater king Tony Hawk.

4. Clove

MEANING: Nature name - seasonal spice

"Fall" in love with this name because: it works for both boys & girls - recently gained popularity from The Hunger Games

5. Raven

MEANING: black crow, or glossy black color

"Fall" in love with this name because: it's a little spooky, thanks to Edgar Allan Poe! Also works for either sex.

6. Sage

MEANING: "wise and knowing"

"Fall" in love with this name because: can't have Thanksgiving without Sage! Another great seasonal name for boys & girls.  Plus, pro snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg is a totally adorable goof.

7. Maple

MEANING: tree name

"Fall" in love with this name because: it's a cool and unique name for a baby girl, although we're not sure what the nickname for Maple is... Actor Jason Bateman named his daughter Maple Sylvie.

8. Sienna

MEANING: Color word: a yellow to reddish orange clay

"Fall" in love with this name because: the color sienna comes from the Italian city of Siena, where it was produced during the Renaissance. It can range from yellow to brown to orange to red - just like fall foliage!
